Guide
Bring! and Listonic alternatives
Bring! and Listonic are the best-known shopping list apps, but not the only ones, and they don't work the same way: some show ads, some charge for the web or the watch, and each shares a list differently. Below are only facts we checked on each app's website and store pages on 9 October 2026. Prices vary by country, so we leave them out.
WeeList
- Completely free: no ads and no paid version.
- On iPhone, Android and in the browser, in 70 languages (including Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Urdu).
- To join a list you only need an 8-character code, sent by WhatsApp or however you like; each person signs in with their own account.
- Quantities, a photo on every item, voice dictation and a trash that keeps deleted items for 30 days.
- What it doesn't have: it doesn't work offline, and there are no recipes, loyalty cards or watch app.
Bring!
- Free, with an optional paid plan (Premium) and ads, according to its Google Play page.
- Recipes and list templates.
- Store flyers with offers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France, plus loyalty cards.
- Also on Apple Watch, Wear OS, Alexa, Siri and in the browser.
- You invite people by email or from the app, and they need an account.
Listonic
- Free, with an optional paid plan and ads, according to its Google Play page.
- Works offline.
- Share by email or with a link, which doesn't require the other person to have an account.
- AI assistant, budget and pantry.
- In 42 languages.
AnyList
- Free, with a paid plan (AnyList Complete) that adds the web, Mac and Apple Watch.
- Recipes, meal planning and prices.
- Shared by email, and the other person needs the app and an account.
- In English and German.
OurGroceries
- Every feature is free; paying only removes the ads.
- Barcode scanner and recipes.
- Also on Apple Watch, Wear OS, Alexa, Siri and in the browser.
- To share, everyone uses the same account on their phones.

How to choose
If you want no ads and nothing to pay, WeeList is the only one of the five with neither.
If you often shop without signal, in a basement store or out of town, Listonic is the one that says it works offline.
If you want recipes or meal planning, AnyList and Bring! have them; WeeList doesn't.
If someone at home won't create an account, Listonic lets you share the list with a link.
Why WeeList is built this way
WeeList does one thing: a list that several people see the same way, instantly. That's why it has no ads, no flyers and no paid version that unlocks what matters. If that's what you're after, it installs in a minute and you share it with a code. If you need recipes or offline mode, one of the others will suit you better.
